Treepz and CMS Taxi & Motor Nigeria Limited have announced a partnership aimed at digitizing public transport on the busy CMS‑Ajah corridor in Lagos.
Technology meets experience
The deal combines Treepz’s digital mobility platform with CMS T&M’s long‑standing role in moving commuters across the city. By embedding Treepz’s software into CMS T&M’s fleet, passengers will be able to pay for rides without cash, using a mobile app that records each trip in real time.
For operators, the system promises real‑time monitoring of routes, digital ticketing and tools to manage revenue more accurately. The move is expected to cut the time drivers spend handling cash and reduce errors that can occur with manual ticketing.
